Whether you're looking to buy your first DSLR or upgrading from a previous model, you'll find that the Canon 550D is still arguably the best entry-level DSLR in the market.
Despite it being more than a year old as of this writing, and despite of a newer Canon 600D model launched early this year, there is still a large demand and following for this feature packed camera. The lower price tag means that a lot of new photography enthusiasts can now afford to buy this as their first gear. Add to that fact that a lot of third-party accessories and software have supported this model since its launch.
I am a proud owner and a fan of the Canon 550D (though mine is a Kiss X4) and I decided to put up this blog as an homage to this great camera. I hope you'll find a lot of useful information here.
