Some people have been saying to us that they think the Canon 550D
autofocus is "not good enough for action shots". Well, in this video, we
aim to test out the autofocus in a rather elaborate game of Tag, with
the Hong Kong Parkour Association. Watch the video to see how well Kai
and the Canon 550D does against them.

How to do Smoke Photography
Kai of DigitalRevTV teaches us how to shoot smoke using our very own Canon 550D, a Sigma 50mm macro lens, and two 580EXII speedlites.
In this episode of DigitalRev TV "How to", we take a look at a question left on our Facebook page - "how do you do smoke photography?". Kai shows us how you can do it with a Canon 550D, 580 EX II flash and a lens....but he also proves that there is no smoke without fire...

First!
Whether you're looking to buy your first DSLR or upgrading from a previous model, you'll find that the Canon 550D is still arguably the best entry-level DSLR in the market.
Despite it being more than a year old as of this writing, and despite of a newer Canon 600D model launched early this year, there is still a large demand and following for this feature packed camera. The lower price tag means that a lot of new photography enthusiasts can now afford to buy this as their first gear. Add to that fact that a lot of third-party accessories and software have supported this model since its launch.
I am a proud owner and a fan of the Canon 550D (though mine is a Kiss X4) and I decided to put up this blog as a homage to this great camera. I hope you'll find a lot of useful information here. Most of the data, reviews and features that I will be posting here will be gathered from in and around the net, so let's just say that this blog will be one extensive scrapbook of anything and everything about the Canon 550D / Rebel T2i /Kiss X4.
Enjoy reading! And I also look forward to your comments and shared stories of the joys and heartaches that comes with owning and shooting with the 550D.
